IDC AND OWSI – ONLINE OR ALL LIVE COURSE
IDC online
Is the way You do Your PADI IDC nowadays. – I really recommend this option. Next IDC starts online NOW if you want to
You will do most workshops with me in zoom at your home and proceed more or less with your own speed. I can be flexible with Your schedule. We will have about a dozen zoom meetings and You only need to come to Oludeniz to complete your water training and a workshop or two with me and after that You are ready to participate into PADI IE.
I normally schedule my IDC practical part, water training so that IE in Türkiye follows directly after training. Time allowing You will have a free day to travel into IE destination. You benefit by not needing so many days for travel for Your IDC and by being able to study most of stuff while working and at home. Saves your time and money. Or gives You possibility to make more training practice – up to You. I can give you two options, running “only” needed workshops in six days or You can take eight to nine days and run Open Water Diver Course Confined and Open Water Dives as instructor or student with your fellow candidates. We stop working roughly at five in afternoon.
With longer option You will do first Confined and Open Water presentations of IDC as normal. Then You have a break for two days from IDC to run Open Water Diver Course Confined and Open Water dives as instructor and student with other candidates. After this You continue IDC presentations. That really makes your instructor skills better and coaches You for being better Instructor. I did use this method on my last IDC and candidates did like it.
IDC during daytime
As live presentations is traditional way of doing Your PADI IDC. Suitable for example for late bookings.
I make program in Oludeniz also in eight to nine relaxing, long days for people who do not want to or can´t study eLearning themselves. Days are long because we will use some time in discussions and clarifications. That gives You more time to ask for details and get most out of Your Instructor program. eight to nine days also gives possibility for doing specialty instructor courses before IE and You can get even more practice.
Not to mention you can then directly apply those specialties and start to teach them. We start at same time with candidates who did their eLearning online but if You did not participate to eLearning before IDC it pays back now as You do need to sit the workshops while some other candidates practice more with presentations or leave early to home / hotel.
General note for candidates who book and pay deposit early enough
I normally send some pre study materials with THEORY and STANDARDS so when You come to your program You are ready and full of questions. You want to get most out of your training and couching so pls come prepared.
I run my Oludeniz IDC and OWSI programs with Lykia World Diving Centre S-32218.
What are prerequisites for PADI IDC and OWSI programs
When can You attend into PADI Instructor Examination (IE)
What does it cost to become a PADI Instructor
What PADI – OWSI is allowed to do
A word of reminder. IDC only teaches you basics of PADI programs. You get a lot more if you invest some time and money before and after IDC for individual training with me. I offer possibility for making Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver programs as student as part of your pre study so you really will be familiar with these programs. This against some fee of course. Time allowing You will teach whole Confined Water Dives or Rescue Exercises during Your IDC.
